... that were just fresh out of the oven... we saw her come down the stairs with tray after tray of hot freshly baked biscuits, I'm drooling just thinking about how good everything in that shop is! Total cost was EU13 and worth every penny!! For our last meal we headed back to the place we had our first dinner, as usual it was yummy, greek salad, tzatsiki and just for something different we all ordered pasta. We had a few cats and dogs surrounding our table and of course GJ ...

... London are pre-booked, it was the last time we would have to manoeuvre our way through decision making process of where to stay.....After driving onto the peninsular, (inadvertently directly through the main drag of Volos....thanks for nothing there Jane!) and sussing out a couple of coastal places along on the western shore we gave into our natural instincts and headed back for the mountains! We decided we'd be better off based in one village somewhere ...

... of Pouri. You should have in mind though that the road down the hill is extremely steep and winding all the way down. At some point we thought the brakes caught fire!

I was so scared with the smell of the brakes at that time that I wanted to get back to the main road before it gets dark so I did not enjoy that outing very much.

Now that I see my photos and remember the wild beauty ...

The Old Stone-arched Bridge of Tsagkarada

Upon entering the village the very first day that we arrived in Tsagkarada I noticed the sign that says "Old Bridge". How could I leave without walking out here!

There is a trail that brings you down to the forest from the village but I thought to take the shortcut since I had nobody to come along.
