... and cucumbers and watermelon are so much more full of flavor here. Christiana showed me around the main town and it was fun strolling through a maze of cobbled lanes - how I shall ever find some of the shops and restaurants she recommended again ,I don't know! ... Then we drove a short distance to another village called Portaria both places very picturesque.By now it is very hot, back on the ship by 1.20pm. Afternoon relaxing on board then at 5.10pm we backed out swung around 180 and sailed for Mykonos. At 7pm we went along to the theatre to see a dance show called La Danza a very high energy show with 16 very good enthusiastic and lithe dancers.Then full table again at dinner had our photo taken again very good company and good conversation..

... very own outdoor bar. A bottle of red wine , a near private cinema, and an amusing film turned out to be another memorable and fun night in Skiathos. ... shop, which reminded us of Brendan's 'Fresh and Fruity", warm memories of days long gone. After not a great night of sleep ... A large breakfast, much needed for Parker. Taxi comes in a few to take us to airport. Another Ryan Air flight. Up and down no problems... Off we go to Rothenburg! Ends up being a wonderful evening! A quick stop at a beergarden for a couple beers and a traditional dish of potato noodles with saurcrout , bacon bits and gravy. A nice wall around town, Old Town Historic Walk, Night Watchman's Tour, Walk the Wall .... Off to bed in down comforters and ...
