... There is so much history here as it was a known place to be attacked by nearby pirates. There was only one narrow entrance to the village in order to guard it and keep it as safe as possible. Once inside, it opens up with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean, the nearby towns lit up, and small restaurants and cafes lining the facade of the town. ... areas, was in a state of decay and disrepair. The streets and alleyways were filthy with piled up rubbish and waste that doesn’t bear description and the thick smog had me coughing up a lung. I feared to drink the water and boiled it thoroughly.
