Decent room. Great lockers large enough for true backpacking packs. Good public area.

We arrived late and got a tuk tuk pick up from the airport which was great, the beds in the dorms were sturdy and didn't creak which is always a plus, the food is excellent and the staff are extremely accommodating!

Great guesthouse - cool, modern, clean, well run, friendly, good location, good food, good internet connection, good tuk tuk drivers outside, plus monkeys.

Good clean rooms with A/C and TV. Right next to the river and Wat Phnom. Tony Mantana working at the front desk was brilliant. Good food too, but a little overpriced.

A bit far away from the action and breakfast was fairly expensive. Not too many other options around for b'fast meaning we had to eat there.
Staff very friendly and room quite good.

This place is fine for a clean and new hotel in a resonable location. The staff are friendly enough although not as welcoming as I had found elsewhere in Cambodia.

    A little monsoon

After sleeping in a bit I woke up and spent the morning making friends with the bartender at the hostel. When I travel I like to try and make friends with locals if I can because although they may speak English, they still give you a better sense of the country. I was talking to him for maybe an hour when the boys came down again so we went back …

I flew from KL into Phnom Penh on an early flight. I couldn't see out the windows but people who have been here have told me I wouldn't be missing anything anyway. Once I landed I found a tuk tuk and made my way to the hostel. A tuk tuk is a motorcycle that has a little carriage-like seating attached behind it. I was early to my hostel and the room …

An emotional departure as we waved goodbye to Amy and Steph on the balcony on Don Det, Romeo and Juliet style. We were on-board the 8am boat as we ventured on to Cambodia and the girls onto Vientiane. A trek to the bus station, 10am pick up by the bus and a long wait at the Cambodian border we began to realise that the …

We hired a tuk tuk driver for the day, he was quite funny. He said he wanted to have a girlfriend and get married but in Cambodia....no money, no honey! He also said he used to play football but now he liked his food too much and he was too fat!

Our first stop was Tuol Sleng Museum, once the Tuol Svay Prey High School which was taken over …

Our lovely breakfast was cut short this morning with Ian sprinting off to reception trying to communicate to the receptionist that our key was locked in the room and could they open it. Unfortunately the hand gestures didn't quite get understood in time and Ian chundered in the corridor. We now realise that this is a side affect from the malaria …
