All packed and ready to go by 11.00 a still left a little late. No trouble on the roads and swift service for lunch in the pub so arrived in good time at the parking. Good service as usual and through check in without issue. No question about the skis, boots or hand bags. Bumped into Jim Humphries in the check in queue, pleased they are not headed to our resort - the sauna could have been ...

... next week... Got to see most sights of Bristol, and the suspension bridge. Beautiful city to say the least. I'm grateful to be here. I've no idea where I'm meant to be, and I figure, I'll let things happen and see where life takes me. I'm not in a rush anymore. I'll end up somewhere sometime... Right now, today, that's Birmingham to see my precious little niece and nephew! I miss you all. And I'm ready for some familiar ...

We then drove to a suburb called Penarth right on the coast and climbed to the top of a large hill to their house. It's a 150 year old stone house that has 4 stories and the most amazing garden in the back yard. Sara and I had separate bedrooms on the top floor and from my window you could see ...

... Maesteg!! Best people. Their friends join us, Bernie and a lovely guy whose name I couldn't hear not understand. Bernie is the dead spit of Stacey from a welsh programme 'Gavin & Stacey' it's uncanny. So lovely listening to their sing-songy accents again. Try to catch up with Rob Mainwaring's mates but it just wasn't meant to be, the crowds are huge and they were in a big group, we'll catch up after Christmas. Game time boys head off to ...
