Stage one of our journey...arrived at Bristol bus station (an hour early). Having a coffee and a blueberry muffin to keep us going until we get to the airport. I found one of Tilly's cat hairs on my trousers and felt a bit emotional and homesick already. But it's cold and raining here in Bristol City centre, so I'm sure when the 36 degree heat of Bangkok hits me I will forget all about the ...

Finally, today's the day! We fly tonight from Heathrow. This morning will be spent finishing off final bits of packing-checking what's packed, unpacking it and repacking it! ... We took a picture of ourselves at one of our favorite episode locations, "The Face of Boe they called me." To mix things up a bit we decided to take a water taxi rather than a bus. We picked it up at the bay and rode it up the River Taff to Cardiff Castle. It was beautiful and green all the way. They have these beautiful water birds everywhere. The fish were out, so the birds were fishing. You could see bird tail feathers sticking up out of the ...

... headed in for a few. This bar was amazing, we had been to one in Edinburgh as well so we already knew they did great drinks. As you guessed they do all sorts of vodka including a range of vodka shots ranging from bubble gum flavour to grandpas old mint flavour and pretty much most flavours you can imagine. The rest of our evening consisted of going for a group dinner and then we headed back to the Vodka bar! We ended up getting rows of shots to try ...
