... Ik slaap goed en als ik wakker word, krijg ik wat koffie van de boer, omdat ik ook die vergeten ben. Na wederom wat extra moeite door het geknoei met wc papier als koffiefilter, breek ik mijn tent op en laat me door de boer de weg wijzen naar het nabijgelegen bos. Wandelen in het Bayerische Wald, eerste check op mijn lijstje!

Daarna rij ik naar het nabijgelegen Metten voor inkopen en tanken. Ik neem een vroege lunch bij het Klooster Café: hmmm, käse spatzle!

... das es Zeit ist, ins Bett zu gehen. Irgendwo zwischen einer Schneise im Wald und ein paar Bueschen schlage ich blind mein Zelt auf und schlafe den Schlaf des Gerechten.

After a long trip from Paris to Munich I finally hooked up with my cruise and am now on my way to Budapest the slow way! The first night party was a hoot!!

We head towards Veichtach which is a small town nearby. Here we head to the Krystalmuseum so Daniel can check out their rock collection. We do some shopping and get some food for lunch...pretzels, ice cream and apple streudel serves nicely as a yummy lunch today.

... the English Channel and can see ships and windmill "farms" in the water. The water, sun and clouds make a beautiful view. It's like earth art. The closer we arrive to Munich the more the clouds thicken but it's scattered rainshowers that are called for with cooler weather all week.
