      We arrived in Belize city to get our boat to Caye Caulker and knew we loved this place, the first language in Belize is English. This was the first time in over six months when I could read a local newspaper (not that I did). Belize is a former British colony and gained their Independence in 1981.       ... 14 December 2013 Today we were going to check out of Sun Dancer II and we had to leave by 8am.
