Once again we're having unusually nice weather. Last week it was cold & rainy. This afternoon we are sailing back to Paris... Some are touring Versailles & we will pick them up along the river somewhere. I'm enjoying my panoramic windows open and listening to the birds & ...

They should all be very proud of themselves as I am proud of them! It truly was a "Bon voyage"! ...

Well here we are...back in our Paris hotel and tucked in for the night! What a day! We left Tours at 8:00 this morning and this train ride was completely calm and uneventful. The students were so happy to be back together and have spent most of the day talking about their French families. Several said tonight, "Can we go back to Tours?". After dropping our bags at the hotel, we headed ...

... bit of a rest - Geoff slept. Sitting out in our courtyard which fronts onto a paddock doing the blog and people walk past - I don't know where they are coming from or where they are going to. It's all a bit of a mystery? 29/9/2014 Monday It is the beginning of the week of the chateaux. Or a few days at least. This morning we started with the largest chateau of them all- chambord. This is extraordinarily large. The rooms are huge & there 440 of them. Not that you ...
