... They taught us a lot of stuff that we will need to know so we don’t die. It was super interesting and fun. We went in the water and tried out all of our gear. The gear is so heavy above water but under water it is weightless. We will stay for a couple weeks here and then go up to Byron Bay where we will spend the rest of our time. We will go to school 10 days after we arrive to Byron Bay. I will be in high school. How cool is that!?!? ...

      At Toby's

While the memory is still fresh and feels strangely like a vivid caffeinated dream of bliss, I just can't help myself to jump ahead two posts and put down today's events, before my brain runs completely dry. After a slow start to the morning, we decided to splurge on tickets to La Bayadére ballet at the Sydney Opera House.  We had a brunch of sushi, tempura, and Thai Laksa at the Opera House Restaurant. We finished eating just barely in time to go inside and take our seats. The ballet was stunningly beautiful and emotionally poignant. I took a picture of the story synopsis, so if you're interested in reading the whole story, look at the pictures here. It was an "exotic ballet" ...

      Arrived back in Australia

A travel blog entry by rmproct on Oct 17, 2014

Well another not too bad flight, the airline had looked after us fabulously. The food has been incredible on all the flights and you couldn't fault the staff at all, nothing was too much for them. On this last leg they couldn't get my screen to work for,the entertainment, which was a bit of a drag as I wasn't ready to have some more sleep. It was a full flight and they couldn't swap me to another business class seat, so after dinner they took me into ...
