It is handy having all these South Pacific song titles to use! This one is quite appropriate today as we spent much of the morning in our hotel rooms hoping for the weather to improve (geddit?) The weather was not good today, very wet and stormy, sounds familiar? So I was very much hoping that the rain would clear for the lovely Samoan blue skies we have become familiar with. What a treat; Gato Go has not been tied up at a marina for nearly 6-months. Thus, many projects were completed to take advantage of the marina.

Though the town of Apia appears large with a handful of ...

... and figured it was pretty good for a tropical beer. Then we left in a taxi to the other end of town to rent a car. We got a Hyundai Sedona 4WD and returned to our hotel. At $65/day, including insurance, we would have the ultimate freedom in our nine days here in Samoa.

We left the following morning after breakfast and drove east along the coast to a place that was recommended by the guide books called the 'Piula Cave Pool,' a fresh water pool fed by springs that ...
