... 100rupees for some made up law. Being a little merry, Mary said "no thanks" and we decided to run away. It actually worked!! Into the station we go and we approach the ticket counter. We accidentally drove straight past our hotel (the Hotel Sea View, which is about 300 yards from the sea) - but we managed to get a tuk-tuk back from Palolem to Patnem. So we were safely in our new hotel, for the next 4 nights, at about 5pm.
