... to winter is that the zoo is only open til 4pm... Still, I don't think I missed anything, and my photo importer is telling me it has 232 new ones to process today, so I must have seen a fair bit!

After catching the bus back to the city, I had another wander around, mainly admiring the architecture and noting down places to come back and explore properly tomorrow. I stopped at a bakery for some snacks and a chemist for some cold and flu tablets. I'm not sure if ...

Today sees us leaving Witton Gilbert with Passports! Vicky took us to Durham Station and then we caught the train and bus to Manchester Airport! The whole journey went very smoothly, with the exception of lugging large cases up and down stairs at York but hey ho! Very early in Airport - 1hr before gate opened. I'm glad I've visiting outside of tourist time. theres still a ton of us but they're sticking to the stuff I'm skipping (castle/shopping). just walking around the green areas is nice and even the military museum was cool (albeit creepy at times as I was the only one in there).

and yes, I still bought stuff but nothing that I actually need.

Day 24 and it was time to say goodbye to Chester. But not before I squeezing in a nice one hour run by The River Dee and the intertwined parks. The fresh, crisp early morning was ideal and the stillness of the town made my footsteps even more prominent.
