        the park inside is very nice. Like a courtyard.
        Wifi is not very stable, but the staff is friendly.
        All in all its a nice place to stay. nice to sit outside in front of the room next to the garden, Make sure you get a room at 1 floor..

        Our journey through the night on the train was different to travelling in Canada, although 1st class, it was a bit cramped and noisy, it was also very slow to start with.

        Vientiane- not a huge amount to see here except for the huge market but just a stop off point really. The guesthouse was nice and there was a restaurant serving fried crickets and larvae but we passed, thanks. Luang Prabang is way nicer, no open sewers!!

        Motorbikes, santa and plans for NYE

        ... but before mounting our bikes we had to give ourselves biker names. I chose Pixie dust for Zoe, Zoe chose Green Wing for Mike (because he looks and acts a little like the blond bloke from green wing), and we all chose Falcon Speed for myself. We called our biker gang the lone wolfs (this involved revving our bikes and howling every morning ayy) Oh and we also named our bikes, i called mine "Talon", Pixie Dust rode on "Stardust" and ...
