Cycling Fun

A travel blog entry by mothman

Up at 8, got some brekkie in 7-11 and then tuk tuk to border at bridge. Crossing was relatively painless we intentionally tried to get there before the train arrived so was quite quiet and staff were generally helpful. When we arrived in Laos a van driver stuck to us to try and get us in his vehicle, in the end we used him as it was easy and a …

After a good nights sleep we arrived at the Laos border about 10am. We got onto a public bus that took us to Vientiane, the capital. Instead of dropping us off at the bus stop we managed to convince the driver to drop us at the hotel as there were so many of us. I managed to bag a lovely single room with a double bed although that meant I had to …

I spent most my time on a moped buzzing around the city which was wicked but nearly dies a few times.. ran out of gas on a …

the park inside is very nice. Like a courtyard.
Wifi is not very stable, but the staff is friendly.
All in all its a nice place to stay. nice to sit outside in front of the room next to the garden, Make sure you get a room at 1 floor..
