... Garden entry for the evening Luau. The Smith Family Garden was very pretty with landscaped gardens and lakes. A perfect setting for a Luau. The property has been in the Smith family for many generations. Although it may not sound very Hawaiian, the name Smith is the surname of the Hawaiian family that still own and run the property. The evening started with free time to explore the gardens, followed by the traditional Imu ceremony, ...

... How are we ever going to settle in to a hostel now after being absolutely spoilt and living in luxury? God help us.

Back to the resort just in time to see the sunset. Great day in paradise.

The only seasoning they use is Hawaiian sea salt. Then we all went for our free drinks. They had mai tais of course, beer, wine, juice, and water. There was a two limit drink per time to the bar. Other than that you could drink as much as you wanted. I only had a glass of ...

    ... Tuesday night.

We continued to take it easy and just relax. When we got hungry I put the deep dish pizza from Costco in the oven and made the salad. When the pizza was ready we had our salad, also from Costco. The salad was really good, we have it at home a lot. The pizza was "to die for." After supper we watched all the kids and people in the pool and continued to relax. Larry and Derek went to bed about 8:30 and I went shortly after 9:00.
