... Poor Sonic!! We may have to give Hertz a call tomorrow before the Sonic breaks down.

On our way back to the condo we stopped at the Kauai Coffee Plantation. $10 for a bag of coffee that you can get for $3 at Walmart. Amazing.

No trip would be complete without a stop for a shrimp taco for lunch.

We finished the night off with a trip to the pool.

It was very well organized. Going through the line went pretty swiftly. There were so many choices: salad with guava or poppy seed dressing, macaroni salad, lomi lomi salad (salmon, tomatoes, and onions), cucumber salad, taro bread, sweet ...

Long Day to Lihue, Kauai

A travel blog entry by lindakhaas on Apr 12, 2014

We didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn for this trip. Derek arrived at our house in time for a 9:30 departure. We had plenty of time so we stopped at Costco to look at a canopy Derek wants to get for his "Big Sale." (He has a large permanent garage sale.) He liked it and we hoped they would still have them when we get back.

We got to the airport in plenty of time. Our first ...
