... wallets, cameras etc which was clipped into the back of my seat. Once off, we meandered down the river below some amazing mountains. They were massive and extremely picturesque. It was more of an effort to get our cameras out than not, so we didn't get much of a chance to get photos as we went. We couldn't quite get the steering right and I felt like I was paddling twice as much as anyone else going from left to right back and forward across the river. ...

We spent the morning at the Kilauea Lighthouse, which is on a peninsula that is the northenmost point of the main Hawaiian Islands. It was a beautiful setting with lots of beautiful birds, and we spent much time strolling around and watching them. I also got a chance to test out the 42X zoom of my new camera, and it is awesome! I got lots of great pictures of birds.

... Tours office for 7:00 a.m. The staff here was fantastic and our Captain….Captain Jeff was easy going and very fun!

Now…if any of you remember another boating excursion I embarked on - it didn’t go well….chumming the waters for the sharks in South Africa. Hmmmm….so today I was very proactive, taking all the necessary precautions…..Dramamine! And it worked….sort of.

... which sold everything and we let the 2 girls choose some presents, not an easy task with so much on offer. Eventually, they both chose handbags, Ava a jewellery set, Eden some hair bobbles and they both had a set of crayons to go with the pencil cases we brought them from Australia.
