... to book Missey an appointment with the vet to get her passport stamped and ready. We inquired with Madam and she swiftly rang and arranged the appointment for tomorrow then giving us full directions to the surgery. We needed some supplies, more water and beer!! So we drove out to the local supermarche doing a recce on the vets as well, all went successfully so now sat drinking said beer cooling down ready for tomorrow, another scorcher ...
Sunday 11th august. After a big nite ( tennille and i finished up at 3 am) of great food (Will cooked up an awesome feast ) lots of laughter, some games of UNO and dare I say some lethal Mojito's ( yes Christian made those ) we packed our cases, grabbed some fresh baguettes and roast pork for lunch and headed off for Clermont Ferrand via Blios where we stopped and visited Chateaux de royal Blios before continuing ...
We drove to a lovely town called Anger ( pronounced ungies -like undies but with a g ) A vibrant town with some great shopping and restaurants to eat, the food here in france is amazing... it's simple, fresh, serving sizes are perfect and value for money outstanding. We walked for hours, shopped ( Emelda bought shoes, i bought underwear ) and ate .... The weather was perfect, it was again a great ...
... to sit for lunch, visit & talk to their friends within the town & generally just switch off ( if only we could do this in Sydney, maybe everyone would be a little more patient and friendlier) the shops here also are not open on Sundays so they really seem to have this life/work balanced ...
