... children in the water. Site is gorgeous - the bar area extends onto a lawn with more tables and a humongous canapé / dead posh! And a proper restaurant with full menu. We sat down to have a beer and ended up getting pizza and chips to take back to the tent. Much more chilled out night tonight. One more day then we're really on ...
... well one has to doesn’t one? Returning outside we found the roof up and the rain coming down yuck. The back of any small car is no fun but the back of a four seater Morgan with no headroom, smelling of vinyl roof and camembert is no place for the weak stomached. We had gone maybe two miles before we had to stop remove the roof and replace it with an umbrella. Fortunately or unfortunately we were stationery at the time as the queue for the track ...
... site which is aimed at families, so there were a lot of children and young people around ( shock, horror!) Luckily there is a separate area just for MH's which was peaceful and quiet. The site is across the road from the sea at Ravenoville Plage, so it got very misty and foggy and we began to wonder if we had done the right thing.........

The rain let up enough for us to go for a walk in the evening, but then started again and was still pouring down when we went to bed.

Lunch on Friday is always at the Auberge in Malicorne a fantastic village so pretty it almost hurts your eyes. Meanwhile on his way to the petrol station James had guided Thor onto the Mulsanne fir a quick run ...
