I rarely ever use sunscreen lotion because I want to get as tan as I can, but I know I'm hurting my body in the long run. I need to learn how to start using sunscreen, while I'm out in the harsh UV rays in Hawaii. Hawaii could possibly be the place where I decrease my chances of getting wrinkles or skin cancer early on.

... at the beach. There were chickens running around everywhere, even some with little baby chicks (they are wild, and common on Kauai). I also got to see someone rescued by a lifeguard. There were some people on boogie boards that had gone out too far, and on the left side of the beach (there had been a sign saying that side had a bad current). We paid our 2nd visit to L&L Hawaiian, a chain type of fast food diner, although Cherie, Uwe and I opted for Chinese.Most of these places are run by Chinese/Korean people. ... and he instantly had two major fans in the girls! We hit Girhadelli chocolate factory and rode the cable cars and walked down the "crookedest" street in the world - all the SanFran classics!
