... table was also close to the stage, where three musicians performed Hawaiian music. And it wasn't too long before we were called up to get our food. It was buffet style, but the lines moved very smoothly.

So here's where the Luau did not meet my expectations. The food was really not that great. And they barely had any desserts. When I went back for seconds, I actually got a salad because there wasn't much I wanted to have more of.

... drove all the way to Kilauea (kill-ah-WAY-ah) and got off at Kilauea Road to Lighthouse Road. Even though we knew the National Wildlife Refuge was closed, we wanted to check it out. When we got to the end of the road we were at the top of a cliff with a view of Kilauea Lighthouse and lots of sea birds. ... did help us. She had the same internet blockage problems that we had but she was able to print ‘unauthorized boarding passes’, making us feel better. She said when we arrived in Honolulu to go the US Air gate and they would convert them to real boarding passes! ... through that both myself and one of those guys would catch going the opposite way, and ride all the way into the shallows. The secret got out pretty quick because by this time there was at least 15 guys in the water. Mercifully, they all stayed down the beach giving us the primo peak all to ourselves. I ended up surfing about three hours straight, until I was whipped, burnt, and rashed. However, it's a session I probably won't fun!!!!
