... to drizzle them with. So Larry and Derek walked across to Safeway to get them. It took a long time because they got a Safeway card so we could get the discount. They saved $4 just on the olive oil. Of course, they brought more home than just olive oil, more beer and some Aloha Strawberry Guava (soda). While supper was in the oven, sprouts and dill buttered salmon, I started my blog.

... was pretty rough but the spot we stopped at had a little bit of cover from the fairly large swell. The currents were still shifty, but the reef had a ton of very colorful fish. The snorkeling was great. It was also a little sketchy because the boat was parked right on the channel. I don't know how deep it was but it looked like the big blue sea...apparently everything that swims through that part of the ocean swims through that channel. Everything ...

... to town for dinner. We dined at Chicken in a Barrel, a quaint western style diner. We couldn't eat all our chicken so took it with us to catch the 5.30pm bus back. Arriving back at CMP, we bought some shopping from Whalers Supplies and the lady there told us it had been raining all day. Unbelievable! So, not only had we had a sunny day on the beach but we now knew just where Puff The Magic Dragon lived by the sea and frolicked in the Autumn mist, in a place called HANALEI! ...
