... it was remarkable how authentic it all felt. After dinner we came back to the hostel and hung out on the balcony with two other Australians, a couple of Americans, and a Finnish girl, and we all talked about our travels and watched fireflies as they buzzed around. ... look better in the field in pink. Steve had vague memories of climbing on board the pink tank and is positive a photo is lurking in his attic of it so wanted another photo just to be sure. Rumours abounded that the pink tank had been relocated to the Miltary Museum. Rumours were subsequently proven wildly wrong when the Museum guys told him it had been once more removed to their other Miltary Museum about 25 kms out of town. Curses!

... harsh, maybe it's the tourism that's rubbed off all their soft edges, maybe it's just the Czech way. There isn't much English and you'll find a lot of Asians and Russians here. I hear they visit to tick off the UNESCO site, what a tour that would be.
Money wise, €50 gets you 1200 CZK. A coffee is 60, dinner is a out 180, and that's eating well (I ate a half a chicken last night, so full but well worth it). Museums are ...
