Had to say goodbye to Katie and Mckenna. They were headed back for work. The girls needed to leave and be on the road by 8 AM. Hard to see them go. Spent the day just like the others. More tubing, relaxing, and of course Airsoft wars. This time it was Laurie, Jeff, and me against Riley, Cooper and Conner. Kaylee was our medic. I was the smart one... Only took a few bullets before I surrendered. Laurie and ...

... sailing off the tube more times than you could count. My body hurt for them! Fishing trip in the late morning landed nothing. Starting to wonder if there are fish in this lake! It was warm and sunny all day. Surprise.... No trips to the store today! The little ones took up a mean game of badminton in the afternoon. Katie and McKenna are packing to leave bright and early ...

We toured the lake and dreamed about which cabin we wanted to own. While we ...

... like a professionally. Kind of funny to watch. Mckenna challenged us to a mean game of hide and seek in the afternoon. She has been walking laps around the island. It's unbelievable! Laurie and I were the seekers. All of the kids took off to find a hiding place. Riley and McKenna travelled together. Riley dressed her in camouflage and took off for the back of the island. First person found was Katie, then Mckenna #2. Pretty soon Conners head popped up and we got him too. ...

... later kids were whining they were hungry. That should have been my first sign that making it on the home stretch would take forever! Wendy's and Taco Bell cause no one could agree at this point. Both restaurants were busy and understaffed and SLOW! Then it was a rest area, a storm or 2 or 3, several traffic jams mostly due to construction. A potty stop, and another one. Throw ...
