... it.  Getting on the train was stress free and our carriage and beds were a lot more cleaner, safer, quieter and comfier than was I expected. So I was pleasantly surprised. Jon and I watched a movie and a few episodes of Benidorm (I'll tell you about that later) then got our beds organised for the night. This morning I speak with the owner of my hotel, in order to offer my room at Charlie, the German of Wuerzburg and .... surprise, the price goes from 400 to 1600 baht, ie from 10 to 40 euro!I have no words; he pointed out to me that we are now in peak season and that my room is a de-luxe while I pay the price for a standard, in a very exceptional case, for when I arrived, the hotel was almost empty and I stopped a month and so I took a deep discount.We are three ...

... What really blew us away, however, were the non-human performers. These included a troupe of 20 elephants, as well as oxen, goats, chickens (trained chickens, no less!) , and a flock of doves. Truly awesome!

So, the bottom line is that we're happy, healthy, and having a wonderful time here. But, now we are looking at our next destination, Singapore. We've just booked our flight, and now are trolling the hotel sites, looking for something in our budget range. ...

... ELAD's ( large circular shape device that emits a deafening sound that immobilises the pirates ) and then some fast manoeuvreing by the ship to complete the drill...hope we don't need to do for real. We are sailing through the potential pirate zone for next 7 days.
