... It is bloody cold here and I didn't bring my jeans. I was so sad to leave my jeans at home but I couldn't justify carting then around in my backpack for weather all over 20 degrees, however this 12 degree weather wasn't predicted! Oh well one can never have too many jeans! Em and I found a nice cafe for a glass of wine in the afternoon. We have a lovely waiter who was keen to learn our names ... Emily and Kalamari! ...

After making our way through the western half of Turkey on plains, buses, ferries and gulets, we eventfully ended up where we started our adventure, Istanbul. We checked back into the Terrace Guest house and made our way into the streets of Sultanahmet.
