... is not a big deal, and I know I sound like a massive baby, but this was my biggest one yet I think, and I'm feeling pretty proud of myself! We had lunch in a restaurant on an island that we tried to get accommodation on, but it was fully booked. The restaurant was fine, you sat at big tables with a lazy Susie in the middle with large dishes of rice and curries and things on to share. ... he dropped us in the centre of patong beach road, so we grabbed our rucksacks and headed off to find a hostel where we found a lovely little guesthouse first one we saw and it was only 300 baht which is about 6 quid for the night it's lovely, clean and has air con and wifi score yet again even more so to realise we are right next to the clubbing strip. Shattered we have jumped into bed so going to have a map then get ready to explore Phuket ...
... have a nap. We headed down to pool and sat for a couple of hours until it got very hot so we went for another thai massage. It was the best yet, totally loving these massages, can't wait to get my next 1. They pull you in all directions and crack your bones but you feel great ...

Not necessarily in that order but all consumed. Remained very hot today and Sian and Donna particularly finding that difficult. Good excuse for Donna to buy some lighter dresses. Stopped for a beer and late lunch when the shopping got too much $4 for beautiful Thai noodles ...
... well but the wind was forecast to die out over the coming days and it didn't disappoint. The actual sailing was pretty poor with only a few short periods of strong consistent wind but the scenery made up for the lack of quality sailing. We spent our days talking about all manner of international news, economics, the chance of the UK being a good place to live over the next 20 years (verdict: slim) and of course we swapped our travel stories.
