We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. We only did a few runs because only 2 lifts were opened, Stagecoach and comet. The visibility was so bad and he wind was worse. When there was a gust of wind, it was impossible to see. It ...

... As we walked into town, Sheila stopped by a little hotel in Tahoe City to check on availability. We did not have high hopes since everything seemed to be booked. As it turned out, someone had cancelled their reservation 5 minutes before walked in, so we got the last room.

    Snow scariness and car trouble

A travel blog entry by eloiseanddaniel on Dec 04, 2013

On monday we drove through death valley, which was indeed very dead, and after a lot of downhill driving the brakes began to smell.of burning and smoke was coming off of them! At this point we stopped in the middle of nowhere and were convinced of the reason why the place got.its name. Luckily.our little fiesta opted to continue functioning, especially with the next ordeal. A few hours north, around carson city, we got stuck.in ...
