... even managed an afternoon sleep. Amazing.
In the late afternoon the sun finally showed itself, and we
braaied under the setting sun.
Cycling in Switzerland is fantastic. Almost everywhere you
go there are cycle paths and the way that other road users respect you is
nothing short of amazing, especially for us coming from South Africa. The paths
are well sign posted which certainly helps in areas where you can easily get
Werner and I rode from Beaune to Liesberg in 3 hours. It was a short but good ride.
Overall we had an excellent time, saw some new interesting places, and were very good riding pair.

... us, and I think the balance now is good - it's feeling in control, rather than being controlled where the balance was lost and I think that was down to a lot of different things all happening over a period of time. I want to keep some balance now I've got it back! Gosh, blah, blah, blah...... You see, it is time to go home.....! PS no luck with the gas - we're on a student stove now so no more 'a la carte' menus for us! Anyone for Pot ...
We were speaking to some English people a few days prior to heading to Mulhouse, they had recommended it as a place to stay as it had the National Motor Museum of France there - there was a little confusion as to where the place was as we had already seen the area on the map and were heading in that direction, the issue was we referred to Mulhouse as Mole-House, the couple we spoke to (could speak French) pronounced it Mul-ooose, the correct way!

Once again a huge, huge 'Thank you" to the Norrises for lending us their home; it was lovely. The attached photo shows it at its idyllic best.
