We stayed in the room in the photo above. Lovely little guesthouse overlooking Padangbai. Other guests were all very nice and backpacker types. The hotel managers were very friendly and helped us get tickets to Gili Meno with no fuss. Would stay here again!

... will give you looks for just sitting down next to them and to all the rules and gudging... Of course there are many other things I am glad to have again. But I know I'll be bored of them quickly enough. Still, I can't wait to get home. Hug my loved ones, do sport, drive a car, work, help mom and dad, pet dogs, share my bed with the cat, have proper wifi, apply to uni, drink beer at the Oktoberfest.... I am curious about what will happen in the next 6 months of my life. I might even be ...

... It is a hotel but a private one and it's very small and intimate. It's set in gorgeous grounds that sit on the sea, you can go snorkelling if you want to! Liv looked beautiful and it was a wonderful service. After the service, there was a few words said by her friend and at the end of the speech was our queue for the flashmob. That's right, we did a flashmob to Pharrell's ...

... area of the island. Conditions were perfect at the start of the dive, however, sudden rainfall and winds made conditions treacherous. Strong currents dragged them away and the boat's captain lost sight of them. Three days later five were found clinging to coral at Manta Point, 19 miles away from their starting point. It is quite chilling to see this, with our dives having set off from the beach and included these very dive sites. Thoughts go to the families of those that lost their lives or are ...

... on going to one of the Gilli's, but then we read about a place called Nusa Lembongan. What a place!

Leaving at 9am the next morning, taking the shuttle bus to Sanur (50,000), to try and catch the public ferry to the island. Owing to the rainy season, it seems that the public ferry isn't running, so we ended up paying for a private speed boat (300,000 return). A very bumpy ride across some huge swells but forty minutes later, we found ourselves in a place ...

... and then another. I chatted with some teens on holiday from the island of Flores and then I missed my stop. In fact not many people new where this store was or the one opposite it (a better known one). so I was running late until I got a ride from a guy who works for the bus company; by ojek of course. I was there exactly on time. Gita drove me to the beach and we sat at a beach front restaurant where she often goes ...
