There were a father and son, Andrew Geddes and Thomas, Scotsmen, and they constructed many of the Cape passes in the mid-late 1800s. This past week I realized I didn't have anything exciting planned for the weekend, so I decided to remedy that by signing up for one of the trips that is organized through the international office. They usually have at least one trip or event per week, although there is a charge for nearly all of them so it would get quite pricey to participate on a regular basis.
