Thurs. 9th Jul. Lanaken - Bouzonville aux Bois. 578ks. (11 hours in the truck).
Woke up early, fully clothed (again) to 10 deg. Brrrr. Too cold to have a lukewarm camp shower so we were packed up and off in record time. Well, almost off. We were ready to depart at 8 but had to kill an hour, wandering around a nearby town until the camp office opened so that they could return our Euro25 deposit.

The ice-cream was bad, but not inedible (Rochelle says the sorbet was fine, so there you go). Lovely pictures, though.

We had a beautiful dinner across the road, including a home-made raisin mustard, which the waiter was very proud of.

While Lou and I were in Ireland, we received news that Chris and Kelly, our friends from the December roatrip, had their baby. Clara Christine Rosati was welcomed into the world on Wed, August 23rd. We were so thrilled to hear the news, so for our "French" Labor Day, we spent the weekend in Orleans, visiting the new bundle of joy. While we were there, the village where Chris and Kelly live had a festival with live music, a carnival and some fireworks. Take a look at the pictures!
