... so a poignant time for us to stand on those beaches. Ian is wanting to go to Sword Beach, this is what the beach was called for the landing as this is were the British soldiers landed. We are still some time away so plans my change and we may end up going tomorrow. I'm writing this whilst we are driving so I had better stop before I end up vomiting on the screen and can't see the keyboard. Ian just reminded me so thought I should ...
... got lost on the way but that's all part of the fun! We found a place called Calais Vin which sold cheap wine and you even got to try before you buy.
So 24 bottles later (not tastings - purchased bottles) we headed back to have some sleep.
The village wasn't really much to talk about really. I'm sure it's lovely but we didn't really look too closely.
So tomorrow we head towards Eastbourne via the Euro Tunnel ...
