... to blend it with the bright blue sky and white, soft-as-a-baby's-bottom (as my dad would say) sand. I have seen many pretty islands but this one topped them all. It is simply amazing.
That evening Meg and I curled up under our mozzie nets in the wooden boathouse-like hostel room (with wooden walls that didn't quite reach the ceiling, basically our cubicle with a bed and washingline in it and an old fashioned padlock on the door. It's probably one of ...
... with Giant Ibis Bus again as they have more legroom, perfect for me and were expecting the nice big comfortable bus again. The bus arrived at 8.15 for 8.30 departure and it was a 16 seater, small bus. Oh well. Still has legroom. We didn’t take our allocated seats at the front as the driver wasn’t concerned about it, so we took 2 eats at row 3. A lot of people went out afterwards but I was ...
We decided to take a trip across to the island of Koh Rong. Just off the coast of Cambodia. From Sihanoukville it was only 45 mins on the fast boat & 2 hours on the slow boat. We opted for the slow boat as it was only $15 for a return, half the price of the fast boat. We was on no time limit so it didn't matter for us. The boat left at 2am but first we had to take a grueling 20 minute bus ride with no air con and overfilled with people & bags blocking the stair-way.
