Because i had spent the majority of the prior snorkeling stop searching for my camera, i took the 2nd half of lunch to swim back out to the reef and that's where i spotted the stingray. this time i got a pic, i didn't linger.
one more snorkeling stop where we saw another moray eel and some poisonous Lion Fish, and we were headed back to koh lanta, camera included. happy birthday boyd.

Animal Welfare Centre
... we met at the centre, some stabbed or drowned or suffer in other horrendous ways. Real stomach turning stuff.
One day we went down to the centre to walk some of the other dogs and were taken on a tour by one of the volunteers. Everything ran so well and everyone there was lovely and friendly, and more than happy to show us what they do. Their main aim is to sterilise the local animals to stop the problem of ...

Very nice place, cheap, clean, internet in the rooms, free coffee and tea, microwave and hot/cold water to use for everybody.
