This place is not only good value, the manager is extremely friendly and helpful. The place is kept immaculately clean and scooters are rented to guests at a fair rate. I stayed here for two weeks and enjoyed very much!!

Finally arriving in Lanta early evening on the 23rd December we were all longing to see the beach that we had been so desperate to relax on so the first thing we did was head straight to a restaurant opposite our hotel for some food. The restaurant was lovely, beanie style cushions, blankets and little wooden tables with a small candle in the …

... where lunch was served in an outdoor pavilion. It was a buffet style lunch with copious amounts of rice, a chicken and cashew nut dish, vegetables in what I presume was an oyster sauce and then a huge platter of pineapple and watermelon. We'd been given an hour stop so just browsed the area - found a baby monkey called Nancy who was four months old. After lunch there was a very brief stop at Viking Cave to visit the cave where birds nests are harvested to make birds nest soup. In ...

      Day 2: April 22, 2014

That day we woke up at about 7.30 because we wanted to move our things to a new resort we managed to find the previous afternoon. First of all, I prepared my small bag which left with Gonzalo. ...

Beano mainly a fan of the fried rice. He had vegetable tempura tonight but insisted on having tomato ketchup to dip it in. Beano was very excited as we got to get the disco tuk tuk home. Flashing lights and loud music. Beano wants one at home ...

... TWO WEEKS AGO I still do that weird head nod thing that I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND. Then we went to bed and all was well ... Until an hour later when I think the Mexican food wreaked its revenge and I woke up and threw up in the toilet ... And then ten minutes after that ... And then again ... And again ... And again ... And once more ... And then someone was in the toilet so I had to run outside ... And then I had to clean up outside ... And then again ... And again ... And ...
