We did go shopping - spent a great day meandering around the markets. Bought a few things - definitely not excessive - but fun as Vicki hadn't experienced Patong markets - very much the same as Bali. Crossing roads here is always a life and death experience - however we felt that a set of lights on a crossing would be much safer. WRONG - ...

Fortunately, I felt somewhat better the next morning and I went on the trip. ...

... 14 years, which was pretty crazy.

As for the everyday stuff, I try to learn a new Thai phrase each day and use it with the trainers. I also eat at new places, even if I don't know what I'm eating. Every now and then I go to a night market, which is a huge place that sells a bunch of knock off items and has a lot of local Thai food.

On Monday I am moving apartments. The one I currently live in has an uncomfortable bed, the maid ...
