      ... and read for a couple of hours. Feeling like I have not explored the street between the gym and my hotel much, I decided to walk around a bit.       ... Saturday, Brett's Birthday, went to Café del Mar to watch Bledisloe Cup with a few Singha Beers then off to Phuket Town markets (open every weekend till midnight) for some more shopping.
      Sunday, pick up at 11am from Merlin Beach Resort for the Airport. Return via Kuala Lumpur.
      Arrived Monday morning around 6.30am in Sydney to cold, wind and pouring rain...

      We all had a great Holiday!!!

      ... the night Sam and I watched the Australia v Wales rugby match at an Aussie Bar. Good result although I've no idea how we managed to stay awake until 2:30am as we were close to being awake for 44 hours. Sleep that night in our big comfy bed was a wonderful thing!! I'm sure we could have slept until mid afternoon but with so much to see and so little time we were up by 10am, straight into our bathers and down by the pool. What a great way to start the day. ...

      ... rides. When we finished we could buy a basket of bananas to feed the elephants and they guts them down! You put a banana in the spout of their trunk then they shovel it into their mouth and they loved them....who would have thought! Next was a short drive to the tour company's base camp where we changed vehicles to a four wheel drive ute type thing with seats in the back. We drove to a conservation area of a national park and stopped at the ranger's quarters. Apparently ...
