... castle in the world. The fairylike Neuschwanstein Castle with its mountains background is a breathtaking sight.

Even though photography is forbidden inside Neuschwanstein Castle, it is the most photographed building in Germany and it is visited by more than one million people each year. If the castle feels somewhat familiar, it is probably because it has appeared in several movies. Neuschwanstein Castle is also the inspiration for the Sleeping Beauty Castle in the ...

The castle is stunning, from the outside, and the views it affords are indeed ...

It never did rain very much here - we're not sure about Hohenschwangau.

Back at the hotel, Mark and Cheryl had dinner in the dining room while the kids busied themselves in our room. Josie showed up in the dining room toward the end of our meal, then wrangled us into a fun game ...

... next week starting tomorrow. We're happy for the people of Bled. But today we were moving on to Reutte, Austria, which promised better weather - at least for tomorrow.

Got the kids going a little earlier than usual, and we can't say they were all that happy about it. They groused, took forever to get ready, ate very little of the food we had out for them. Mark got the car from the parking lot, just a quick walk around the ...
