Clean room, could be a little bigger. Very close to kao San, and very quite despite being in one of the most crowded walking street I'm Bangkok. Like most of the places they have a little kitchen, and a internet area with PC... Wifi is free everywherg

      Leuk guesthouse!

We picked a doble room with shared bathroom and fan. It wasn´t the cheapest one, but the difference is worth to pay it. The room was nice decorated, with enough space for our backpacks and very clean. The place is well located, has a nice garden with a restaurant in the ground floor. The reception is 24 hs and very helpfull.

Great guesthouse with open air lobby, lots of greenery, with small cafe/breakfast restaurant. Owners at front desk were helpful and tours booked from them worked out great with pick up in the lobby.
Booked for two nights but extended stay for 3 nights additional. Rooms were clean with private bathroom and surprisingly quite at night.
Located on Soi Rambuttri which is a nice street near Khao san road.

This hotel was bursting with charm and kindness! the hotel is very basic but splendidly clean and quiet. The restaurant boasts good value for breakfast, and offers tasty fruit! I would most certainly recommend - very good value for money in this popular area of Bangkok.

One of the hidden gems of Soi Rambuttri. If you're lucky enough to be around when a room becomes available here, snag it.

Tuk tuk drivers are annoying asking for 100 baht to take me from near Koh San Road to Jim Thomson's house but they wanted to go to a tailors and jewellery shop first but these places were in the opposite direction of where I wanted to go ( thank you Google maps) I ended up in another tuk tuk after the tailor shop to get directly where I wanted to …

Lamphu house is only twenty minutes walk from the Grand Palace and its so strict on what you can wear inside the palace, my shawl was not good enough I had to rent a purple flower shirt to go over my top! This was sooo annoying but eventually I got in. The Grand Palace is beautiful, each building is decorated in jewels and stand very tall with gold …

Even though we suffered from the mother of all hangovers it was necessary to start moving again. It was mainly because I wasn´t allowed to stay in Thailand longer than until midnight of the 21st of May, which may seem like plenty of time, but we still had to apply for our Burmese visa in Bangkok and weren´t 100% sure about the processing …
