Great guesthouse with open air lobby, lots of greenery, with small cafe/breakfast restaurant. Owners at front desk were helpful and tours booked from them worked out great with pick up in the lobby.
Booked for two nights but extended stay for 3 nights additional. Rooms were clean with private bathroom and surprisingly quite at night.
Located on Soi Rambuttri which is a nice street near Khao san road.

This hotel was bursting with charm and kindness! the hotel is very basic but splendidly clean and quiet. The restaurant boasts good value for breakfast, and offers tasty fruit! I would most certainly recommend - very good value for money in this popular area of Bangkok.

Toronto to Bangkok to Chiang Mai

Emily and I spent one of those weeks in and around Bangkok, and the other in Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai. We are currently in Laos (but that is getting ahead of ourselves …
My only friend, the end
Sitting at home now, I can't help but reminisce on what has been a fantastic 4 months. We have entered 9 countries and like to think we have done them supreme justice. There have been tears, laughter, horrific events that were unblogworthy, memory loss, reunions, friendships, intimate moments (grrr) and variable digestive movements, to name but a …
Back in Bangkok...again
From Koh Chang we planned to head back to Bangkok to book onward travel to Laos. It actually worked out well timing wise as we'd picked up some presents along the way and wanted to buy some more to send home to family in time for Christmas. We’d heard heaps about the floods that had affected Bangkok since our last visit but after talking to a …

A Breath Of Bangkok Air...
Bangkok is a constantly constant. It's bursting with vibrant clashing colour and the wafting of deep sewage stench, street food vendors and car fumes. The roads buzz unpredictably with buses, Tuk-Tuks, mopeds, and hot pink taxis; beeping intermittently and loudly, at high speeds, all weaving through gaps in traffic and dodging pedestrians, having …
