      Samui back to Phuket

A travel blog entry by megwilson on Dec 02, 2014

... it was very enjoyable. We got to Phuket at about 12, after our 40 minute flight and was stuck in traffic for a long time! But finally got to our hotel. I can't say that it was as luxurious as our other three, but I couldn't fault it really either. We went into town after a rest, had linner (lunch/dinner) at the same place where we had our first meal in town- dee-lish, booked a day trip for tomorrow, wandered the streets and shopped before going home for ...

The place is immaculate, no smell, the animals look shiny, healthy and fit and the staff are very protective. The experience is much better than I imagined although the young tigers were pretty sleepy. Photos done, experience had, and we're off to Phuket Town. Oz shows us around, and Dale & I see some of the streets we treked in ...

... ha! 27th Jan. we've been up since 5.30am to get a flight from Chang Mai to Bangkok then Bangkok to Hanoi, Vietnam. First impressions- not good. We are not happy and I feel really on edge. We waited at the visa counter for aaaaages because we didnt have USD to pay 45USD each on arrival for the visa.. cash only so we had to wait until they were ready to frog march us out to a cash machine.. Then the guy tells us to get 2million out, now we don't understand this currency yet so ...

      Asia travels part 2

A travel blog entry by the_webbs on Jul 16, 2013

... the best start to the day. Upon leaving the tiny airport terminal after having no sleep for a good near thirty hours, what could possibly test our remaining patience? Only a 10 different chuffing news reporters sticking cameras and microphones in our face. It was for a new controversial bus service that had opened up and we were literally the ...
