As agreed, it was my turn to experience driving Irish roads. Driving on the left was easier than trying to figure out the sense of where the car was. I drive a 4x4 at home, and this car was low and long (at least to me it seemed so). I used my right mirror a lot to see where the car was in relation to the center line. I hit a curb (or 4-5), but managed not to hit another car! Success! I started off on the narrow country roads but soon joined up ...

... we sleep at the Bru and Bar Hostel, Cork. This hostel is above a pub and you have to walk right through the pub to get to the hostel.

Parking is a huge problem in cities. Between seven at night and seven in the morning you can park for free, but they tend to really tow away cars at other times which do not displaying a valid parking ticket.
