Left Newport Wales this morning for our drive eventually to the ferry to cross to Ireland this afternoon. Ferry due to leave at 2.30 and arrive in Ireland at 6. 30 First village was Avergavenny( remember the song), then Brecon and Carmarthen through some very green and pretty countryside Finally to Fishguard for ferry trip across St George's channel to Rosslare in Ireland. ... He seems ok though, just a bit shaken up. Sunday, we watched a hurling match at the pub, Cork vs Gallway. Then went to Olivia's house for a BBQ. They have a huge back garden so we bought supplies and set up camp there for the night. Was great food (if I do say so myself) and a nice wee night chatting to everyone, but a spot of trouble on the way home from the local guys again.
