... rise like rocky cakes out of the sea - few have beaches really, all the little ones are just like tall rock features covered in trees and they just emerge vertically upwards from the turquoise sea. They are surrounded by little areas of coral and so are ideal for snorkelling. But don't worry for those of you that need a break from getting completely on your face drunk there are a few other things to do here. I soon have that vision knocked out of me. We are to be picked up at 9.30 to give them time to collect the other passengers. Oh dear. But it is all booked and everyone is happy.

We get ourselves ready, and then Martin and the minions decide ...

We had booked a long tail boat trip to the smaller of the phi phi islands today. The main part of the trip was to go to maya beach where they filmed the beach. It does take your breath away as you come into the bay. The sea was quite choppy and it cost an extra 100 baht each to step onto the beach and when he said we were staying there an hour that sold it to us with the non sea legs. We got straight in the sea, it was so clear ...
