    ... there we had some more rolling countryside and then a long wonderful descent into Comp sur Artuby. Our hotel was originally opened in 1737 and is in the Guinness World Book for being owned by the same family for over 250 years. We made it to the hotel in time for lunch and then walked up to the church at the top for the view.

    ... I regretted the plan, but we continued on towards Cannes. After what seemed like an endless and eventful journey along the gorge road, the horizon opened up to show us a much more favourable view of the Mediterranean sea.     ... a tough life! At 1:30 pm the clouds started rolling in and we decided that we should probably head off anyways if we were going to do our scenic drive and get to our next campsite. We had a great stay and enjoyed every bit of it, fully spoiled like Braed had intended.

    ... after reading all the Info. Decided to stay at the La Palud Sur Verdon municipal campsite. The town was very busy so we carried on to the campsite to find to our annoyance that it was closed for the season despite the info. We had been given.
