    A bit of a rest from driving today - we enjoyed the neighbourhood of Verdon first by taking an electric boat out. It was peaceful but a bit windy. So sailing would have been better!

    ... longer than expected: 4+ hours to cover 200km, I enjoyed the mountain drive without traffic and green scenary, to arrive at elevated village with a beautiful green lake and a medieval castle to stay by 7pm!

    The owner of the chateau was there to warmly welcome us, and we enjoyed our stay like guests more than visitors!

    ... then driven back to the square in Forcalquier where we thanked everyone before returning to camp. We got packed up and Anoop used the huge squeegee from the showers to wipe all the leaves and bugs off of our awning which had accumulated in the four days we were there. The town was very busy so we carried on to the campsite to find to our annoyance that it was closed for the season despite the info. We had been given.
