... centre for a bit, and up to the cathedral, really nice bakeries around here, that make really nice quiches and great coffee.
Wanted to get into Paris early so didn't stay long but I liked this place, really nice.
Watch out for the trams tho, they are real quiet.

We woke to a beautiful morning and crossed over the Loire, with the early sun making the river look like molten silver. We arrived at the magnificent Chateau Chambord. ... to go through security and customs - I had to lift my bag onto the security scanner - the gentleman in front of me had advised the staff he couldn't lift his bag due to a bad back. The security attendant was still there when I came through so he assisted me - thank goodness. I was very early so tried manoeuvring my bag and pack back in the toilets. Thank goodness the toilets were extra large. I also took the opportunity to purchase a Paris metro ticket and get my regional train ...
