Fun fact about the Spanish Canary Islands. They are closer to Africa than they are to Spain. One of the Islands is also the birth place of that language composed seulement of whistling! Very Very cool!

The high speed car ferries make regular trips to other islands. The docks are so long that a bus picks you up at the ship and takes you to the street at the beginning of the dock for 4 euros. We decide to walk it. We decided to forego any shore excursions ...

... flew back from Buenos Aires.

When we arrived it Manchester, it took absolutely ages waiting at the luggage carousel for our cases to arrive. Then it was onto the shuttle bus and back to the long-term car parking, where we picked up our Vauxhall Meriva for the drive back to Durham.

We arrived back home right on the stroke of midnight; the end of another fabulous holiday in some unusual places.Here’s to the next time! ...
