    "Living the dream"

We met our charming hostess, Veronique, late yesterday afternoon. Fortunately she speaks and writes in perfect English so instructions were easy to understand. We stopped a couple of times on our drive back to Anduze to take some photos as the countryside is very picturesque with the hillside villages and the river below. During one of our stops Hazel made the exciting find of a fairly large snakeskin!, which she now proudly ...

... AD, is the best-preserved Roman arena in France. We wandered the outer walls however resisted the temptation to enter as it was in full sun and hot 32+ degrees today. We were fascinated by the huge banner affixed to the outer wall with a listing of all upcoming bands coming to play as it is used to this day as a concert arena. I thought that it was very funny to think of Neil Young and Depeche Mode playing in this ...
