Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

I wandered below to see the full monument from a distance and ya its something to be proud of....in a weird way...I spent quite a while just taking it in....and eventually wandered back to the bike, hard to believe this area was nothing but mud and shell holes and nothing living. It was the ultimate definition of no mans land...stand up and die. Now it is pock marked but lush green grasses grow and the forests are back on the slope that we had ...

... anyway, then see the track had been opened. We hurry up to the track, taking some photos and trying to make it to the podium, but soon they we rushed along to the FIA press conference and gone were our hopes of meeting our superstar Aussie driver.

We wandered the track, took some photos and started to make our way back up the hill towards the shuttle bus to camp... With 10s of 1000s of other GP goers.

At the top of the hill our bus was waiting, ...

... mega loud!! No rain today which was unusual for Spa but good for us. Just cold and breezy. Got to a maximum of 16 degrees but we were better dressed today. Drivers parade of top 10 which was a bit of a let down. Formula 1 started at 2pm. Exciting! Great race with Ricciardo again showing he has the goods. Go you good thing! ... while cleaning the dishes Andy had a sneaky check of the dryer. It wasn't being used, so we stuck it in and got it drying.

Then back to camp where the Dutchies had some bricks burning in a BBQ for heat, and we sat and talked about the day of racing. Andy shared his beers, they shared their traditional pea soup.
