... choices; 2. Le Coux, for the local village atmosphere; and 3. St Cyprian, for the company of our fellow diners. We talked a bit to the folks sitting beside us at Nontron and enjoyed the food (I think we picked well from a limited choice). The local wine was pretty reasonable albeit with terrible labels. So, perhaps second or third in the new list. Its hard to compare them. 1 August Today we decided to treat ourselves with a quiet day of no travelling and declared an AFD. So it ...

... hope the photos do it justice. Had a bit of a barney with the kids on the way home. They were bored and mucking around in the car - essentially trying to irritate us and managing spectacularly well! Ironically the media area was cordoned off by high fences and security ...

... the side. Others are drawn with a black colour. (Can't remember what was used for these drawings). It was a very interesting tour and we have never seen anything like this before. Fortunately for Brad, he did not feel claustrophobic, and he was able to enjoy the tour. It was very cold in the caves.

They believe that the 250+ drawings date from 140 centuries ago according to scientific verification. There are drawings of woolly ...

... design. There is a downloaded picture of the rooftop so you can see how it looks from on high!

We decided to wander the shaded narrow lane ways in the old town and look at all the shops. We found a lovely shop where we bought a few small presents. The lady serving us was delightful and we communicated well. We spoke more French than she did English. When she knew we were buying presents, she did a wonderful job of wrapping ...
