... as are the vegetables really ,but some excellent spuds..![Its very dry in this region at present].I suddenly looked forward to cooking again,...it will be great...on the strength of that ,we bought...charmed by an amusing French man,a whisk type thing which he demonstrated, to do wondrous things...sooo,its our only purchase so far..for us...and we hope for great things !!??
This Port is near the Normandy Beaches, and a nine hour tour ...

... We also explored along the sea wall. We got the shuttle buses both into and out of town. Along one of the roads, there was a lighthouse which was and still is used to guide ships into the harbour. ... We had set our course and with less than four knots of wind couldn't sail at all, and we huddled in the cockpit, watching our couse on the iPad and popping our heads out every so often to make sure we couldn't see any lights close enough to signal that we might have a nearby ship to avoid.

For the first couple of hours we made slower progress than we hoped, as the tide was pushing us backwards and we didn't have the benefit of the sails. It was a sixty ...
