      'Leaving on a ferrryyyy, don't know when we'll be back again!'................

      We were awake early to catch the 8.30am ferry to Cherbourg, another beautiful day with thankfully calm seas as Mandy doesn't have great sea legs! Arrived in Cherbourg at 1.45 french time and had a 2 hour drive to a small town on the Brittany/Normandy border called Pontorson.

      ... 3pm the rain slowed down and we began the 45 miles or so ride to the ferry terminal at Cherbourg. The rain stopped and then the sun came out.

      The boarding of the ferry with the bikes was very smooth and we took up position in the restaurant where we spent the remainder of the 'kitty' or 'whip' on a nice meal and a bottle of red!

      Friday Morning

      Sleeping late for me is 8:00. I slept in late. If you know me, breakfast is the best meal of the day. It is cafeteria style, all you can eat (one pass) for about $15. Expensive, but not outrageous. It will hold me for the day. Dayna is still sleeping and will be for some time, she has ...

I joined a running group a couple of weeks ago which has the goal of a 5k park run after 9 weeks I'm determined to stick to the programme and I am very pleased that I managed to fit in a session tonight.
