We had a pretty nice sail to Concarneau not a long passage from Loctudy.
We've decided to exercise our chill days here.
There's not much to the town other than the old town within fortified walls, but it is atmospheric.
We basically wandered around and visited the Museum of fishing which was, believe it or not, very good.
... quayside - not good. As we passed the vessel we did get a stern signalling that anchoring mid channel is not allowed - or at least that's my interpretation of the gestures. He are hoping and praying that we aren't going to get reported. So we quickly picked up the anchor(s) and went back to the creek (where we anchored a close as possible to the previous night - although we didn't quite succeed as we were we on the mud for a while over night at low water).
I went for a run along the pedestrian pathway that was marked on the map we were given. This took me along the waterfront, past the castle and over the pedestrian only bridge. Spent the morning on the Internet researching attractions around the area. We wanted to venture to Pont l'Abbe but the wind was too strong to take the dinghy up the river (and it was prohibited to anchor) so we opted for le Manoir de Kerazan. One of the websites suggested it was open from 10:30 to the 18:00,
