August 2ndWe had a super time in Guilvinec unfortunately we have had to move off sooner rather than later as David's dad is unwell and back in hospital so we need to be nearer Rochefort where we can leave Sega if necessary to get home quickly. We had a lovely time there amongst all the fishing boats....and met this lovely couple called Paul and Jan on their boat called Wild Poppy, we hope to meet ...

Once we passed the Raz we had a super sail to Audierne where we anchored for the night both very relieved and happy to have ...

I went down to rest and David took the watch through to the early hours he saw the French lights at about 10.30pm so only 12 hours after leaving Falmouth we were sailing well and we were at the top of the Chenal du four a little early so tide was against us slowing us up, but soon we got the tide with us and flew down which was fantastic with the sun rising. David put the French flag up and we knew we had arrived I ...

We called in here mainly to watch the daily catch of fish arrive. It's quite an event and the local council has built a viewing platform for the sole (sorry) purpose. Around 4.30 every afternoon, a couple of hundred people stand on the platform to see the flotilla of fishing boats arrive ...
