Today we awoke to a great breakfast in the hotel, complete with eggs and bacon which we were not expecting. Shortly afterwards, we boarded the bus for Rothenburg. On the way there, we were debriefed on all of the optional excursions of which we decided to do most of them to enhance this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Emma does much better than I in terms of both. I must say in the absence of my tech savvy husband my daughter is doing well throughout her trusty iPhone with downloaded maps, pins dropped at needed locations have served us well and at the moment she is the one handling the Czech money. I know yes ...

... band but actually a torture device, consisting of an iron cabinet with a hinged front and spike-covered interior, sufficiently tall to enclose a human being. There was even a cage in which they put bakers in that made their bread too small and dipped them in the river. The museum was fascinating and disturbing. We enjoyed it.

After the crime museum we found the stairs to the town wall and walked around it. There's a good view from ...
