We arrived in Karlovy Vary and we went for a walk around town and their tradition is healing spa water.

Some of it is about 72 degrees and then you drink it and it heals you, I don't believe it.

But I am DEFINITELY NEVER drinking that water again.

The next day is Zaras BIRTHDAY, but the funny thing is I slept in until about 9:00 until they

We walked around town.

This town is known for healing water and spas.

The healing water is disgusting. It is 72 degress hot.

That is the hottest I saw.

Dad drank most of it.

I had 1 sip.

... Pupp.

Zara turned 7 years old here. She is growing up so fast.
She had written a list of what she wanted to do - open presents, play with new toys, eat chocolate cake, watch Frozen, play with toys again and stay up late.

She did all that but what she didn't expect was a magical ride on a horse and carriage.
She loved it and so did the rest of us.

I totally forgot to mention two really neat parts of our day yesterday. So, here they are with some neat pics too!

First, during our walk along the city wall we found an exit with a long (and steep) path to the river valley below. From our B&B room we can see the cute village houses down there, so we figured we might as well check it out. For some reason we just keep choosing to walk up and down sleep hills and stairs! ... a mile and a half and took us about an hour giving us beautiful views from different angles on the way. After poking around a few more shops we popped into another recommended café for lunch. Thankfully nobody shook their head no when we walked in which is good because I was tired of getting refused service at restaurants! Jonathan held the table while I made the order at the counter.
