This morning we weren't all that unhappy to leave the sheridan arabella in munich as we weren't wearing the correct clothing, black cloth and head gear. We headed off to the castle of Neuschwanstein ( the castle they use in the beginning of Walt Disney ). Was good but guess what we have done the abc and not likely see another, they are beautiful but not our thing. Had lunch at ...

Much planning was underway to organise the trip to the cycling race/event this weekend, with all of us leaving tomorrow for Germany. This truly was a rest day as Sue even had a midday nap. It was a day of ...

... chocolate, beer and chips for the train. Our trip was supposed to be 1.20 hrs leaving at 6.20 but as the storm in Germany had caused some trees to fall on the tracks we were re-routed south and the trip took an extra 2 hrs with a train change but it was much more scenic according to my new Facebook friend Simone Lindinger. She is an English teacher and was keen to try out her English on us, it helped to pass the time. She was very ...
