LEGOLAND day had arrived!! Josh woke first today as he was very excited about the day we had planned. We were ready and left by 9:30 to arrive at opening time 10am. Our teachers warned us that there was going to be more diversity in this school but it was definitely not readily apparent. I saw maybe 2 or 3 students of non-Danish descent (this is jargon-y way to say foreign in Denmark). It is so interesting to see how even just a little bit of diversity is overwhelming to them. We have been learning about how the influx of immigrants into Denmark from the Middle East is really throwing them off ...

We left Eskilstrup around 9.30 this morning to travel to the west of the country to visit Legoland.

The trip took us over a 12 kilometre bridge that saw us leave the island of Zealand where we drove across Fyn and onto another bridge to mainland Denmark called Jutland. (Jylland)
