... a typical breakfast, but it was terrific. Have I mentioned yet how HOT it is here, it really is the hottest place I have ever been. Being in Phuket now is a little cooler with the ocean breeze, but by only a little. We bought a beach towel from a vendor on the way back to the hotel and headed to the beach! The hotel is so convenient, no need to pack up anything just grab the towel go. It's so nice not having to worry or watch our ...

The final day of the race has come. Today we had local Thai kids on board, and they helped us pull on the many lines and things. Sadly, it didn't seem like they understood us at all, which made it a little tough to communicate with them, but it was fun nonetheless. The race course today was short, probably because they were apologizing for the course yesterday…at least that’s what Jim and Sam said, jokingly. We ended around 12:30, and once the ...

... blue Lotus bar and it was a late night from there. The next day was a late morning, as usual. Ivan was feeling very, very woeful and did not emerge from his room until 4 pm. From there we all went to the tattoo bar, since it was Ben and Resh's last day, they wanted to have a few beers with Wat and the girls to say goodbye. Ivan was still having a bad time, and looking absolutely woeful. Ivan was feeling so bad that he ...
