We arrived into the beautiful, well organized and empty YVR Vancouver airport at 9am from LAX and got through customs and immigration in about 4 mins only to wait for ages for our bags and then we thought we had lost one only to find the one on the conveyor I was positive wasn't ours was in fact ours. oops. Note to self get clear identifier tags …

Granville Island is a peninsula and shopping district. I guess it used to be kind of gritty, but now it's a cute and popular place. Of course I missed my stop and didn't get off the bus until once we were over the Burrard Bridge. I didn't see this as a terrible thing, as I enjoy photographing bridges and scenery from them.
