We walked, we read, we looked in the 3 shops in the airport, we sat, we walked and finally arrived at our gate. It was cold there and had to get jackets from luggage. And waited more. Finally on the plane for the 33 minutes of flight to Honolulu. That was fast. We ...

Hiking the Na Pali

... We walked the beach a little to enjoy the ocean and the views, including views of the Na Pali coast itself. We then started our hike. It's 2 miles to the next beach, but after talking to a state park ranger about the conditions of the trail, we decided to do a shorter hike. He told us things were quite muddy and slippery further on, and with the heavy rains we got last night, it was easy to imagine how that could be the case! It turns out the start of the hike ...
