Luang Namtha

... to home, although a lot of villages do have a couple of brick buildings in them. The last part of the bike ride was along another main road and by this point we wanted to sit down with a drink so we peddled quite quickly. Luckily the road was good here so it was easier. When we got back into Luang Namtha there wasn't much left open for us tourists, everyone must have been back at their villages where the parties were. There were a handful ...

Our plate was to be a huge ...

Travelling to each town you see small villages with houses made of bamboo with children all dusty playing out with the chickens and the goats and the stray dogs (which they then eat) and then the next minute you see a beautifully made mansion! The French influence is still rife in Laos ...
