He isn't able to go back to France (hmmm, didn't tell us exactly why) and has lived in Brazil, Corsica and other places before finally settling here. I told him I knew it was free for taxis to enter the airport, that he wouldn't have to pay, so he went down to R20,000, then to "whatever I wanted to pay".
I paid nothing and he pouted a bit, which was too bad because we'd had a great ride and a great chat the whole way to the airport!
